The names of individuals who have revolutionized the game of golf reads like a "Who's Who" of the fairways: players such as Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods . . . and contributors like course designer Robert Trent Jones; the first commissioner for the PGA Tour, Joseph Dye; and celebrity tournament founders Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and Dinah Shore. Now we can add to the list the name of Scotty Robertson.

The incredible story of Scotty Robertson has been chronicled by some of the most prestigious media outlets in the country, including The New York Times and Dateline NBC. Why? Because he has been renowned in the golf world for discovering the Robertson Grip
TM, a technique in which a golfer holds his or her top hand on the club literally upside-down.

Here's the story: For more than 25 years, Scotty scored in the 100's on executive courses. Then one day in 1990, on a driving range outside Cleveland, he accidentially discovered a new way of gripping his club. As he turned his top hand upside-down out of frustration and swung at a ball, a whole new world opened up for him. He quickly stepped into a dream-like status of improvement that boggled his mind and tickled his senses - - and it also began to gather him galleries. Virtually overnight, Scotty had the ability to hit a golf ball like a touring pro. In fact, he instantly became one of the longest hitters in the world - - launching persimmon woods 370 yards in the air. Scotty went from hitting an average drive 170 yards to routinely smashing them 320 yards overnight; and cut more than 50 strokes off his game, resulting in a plus-2 handicap.

Shortly afterward, the press heard Scotty's incredible story and, in little time, his "invention" began to provide hope to weary and frustrated golfers without Scotty "ever really trying." In order to bring his discovery to as many people as possible, Scotty put out an Instructional DVD that has been rated as one of the best ever produced. He has also performed hundreds of golf exhibitions, entertaining thousands around the world. Today his longest drive is 420 yards and his best score is a remarkable 63 on a 7,100 yard par 72 layout. He is currently playing on the Pepsi and SoCal Tours, and is hoping to join the PGA Tour in the near future.

If you are looking for "unique and exciting," Scotty will entertain an audience in ways they will always remember. He's available for Pro-am's, exhibitions, endorsements and other appearances by contacting Silverman Media&Marketing Group. To learn more about Scotty, click his photo on this page.
