David J. Chavez, a native of Tucson, AZ, has been working in the sports world for more than a quarter-century - - including, since 1998, as a founder of Colorado Springs, C0-jeadquartered Pro Sports MVP. | Michael Coleman has served as the sports director and anchor for News 12 Long Island since March 2004.
Michael, who was born and raised in Lawrence, KS, attended Southern Illinois University on a football scholarship and also earned a bachelor's degree in speech communications. Prior to studying and starring on the gridiron in Carbondale, IL, he starred at track and football at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas.
